The Water You Drink

Did you ever wonder about the quality of the water you drink? You can be confident in knowing that, the District vigilantly safeguards its water supply which is delivered to you.

Through regular testing required by the United States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA), the District ensures that the drinking water meets or exceeds the mandatory health standards set by the USEPA and Department of Public Health (DPH). Additional tests are performed for aesthetic standards to ensure the water tastes, looks and smells good.

These tests are required to be reported annually to DPH and the customers we serve. The District enthusiastically supports this requirement with the release of our Annual Water Quality Report each July.

The annual report is mailed to each District water account holder. Included are details about where your water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to USEPA and DPH Standards. Water delivered by the Water District once again met and exceeded all drinking water standards.
